Visit to Profile Automotive for RS Clutch & Flywheel. DIY Powerflex Polybushes.

The car's second service was done at Profile Automotive in Stockport (now closed and merged with Collins Performance). At this point the car went onto RS spark plugs & RS 0W40 oil. It hasn't had any other type since.

At the same time, the MKII Focus RS clutch, and flywheel was fitted. The ST one was burnt out and one of the worst the fitter Dave Murray had seen. This was after only 12,000 miles... oops!

Whilst there, Gary noticed and commented that the front wishbone rear bushes were perished and had leaked all of their oil, again after only 12,000 miles. He didn't have any in stock so I came home and ordered a full front set from Matt Lewis Motorsport. The set includes both front and rear bushes on the wishbone and the front anti-rollbar bushes. I fitted these DIY and they were a pain in the ass! The old bushes had to be burnt out, the holders cleaned up, and then the new bushes pressed in.
